“Hoofbeats Pounding takes its name from machine-generated subtitles for Troy (2004), an automation repurposed as poetry. The publication invited twenty artists and writers to articulate a Gen-Z perspective shaped by generative content and inconspicuous consumption. These writings trace the recursive entanglement of digital, commercial and electrical circuits, locating human subjectivity within the soft hum of continuous computation. It features text contributions from Elie Arden, Georgia Anna Bloom, Cole Denter, Anouska Josephine, Middleton Maddocks, Ruby Red, Martha Sapsed and Lydia Eliza Trail. Documentation of the original exhibition at Koppel – including works of emerging artists; Rowan Bazley, Flo Bracey, Millie Rose Dobree, Sam Cottington, Jessie Evans, Archie Fooks-Smith, Alex Heard, Giulia Ley, Daniela María, Polly Plowden, Ines Sacof, Dom Sebastian, Archie Taylor, and Arto Vanhasselt. Edited by Daniela María and typeset by Cameron Harris
